My musical journey could have begun over 40 years ago. Life took me in other directions, but my love for music and words never faded.

I write because I love words, stories and mysteries. My stories often carry small pieces of my own life: people I have met, feelings I have carried and questions that have never quite left me.

I make music under the name Mia Wilde. I do not perform on stage or seek the spotlight. My songs come from the heart, from memories, love, sorrow, joy and everything that makes us human.

I love cooking, gathering a few friends around a table and finding warmth in simple moments. I believe more in knowledge, curiosity and kindness than in being seen on social media.

My family is large, and love stretches across generations: from my parents and siblings to my 95-year-old grandmother, my children and grandchildren. They all have a place in my life and in my heart.

Animals hold a very special place in my life, too. Several of my dogs came to me after being rehomed, or when they grew old and were no longer wanted. With me, they deserve safety, love and a place to belong.

One dream I carry is to create storytime gatherings for children, giving them a chance to discover a world beyond screens: to hold a book, listen to a story, imagine and feel connected. Perhaps with animals, warmth and a little everyday magic.

I believe in continuing to learn, at any age. And I believe in helping wherever I can, easing someone else's burden and giving with my whole heart.

My stories come from life. My music comes from the heart. And everything I create begins with the love of sharing something with others.

A smile costs nothing, yet it can change someone's entire day.
